Seat Note: Amrita’s 2026 academic booklet mentions 150 MBBS seats, while the NMC AY 2026–27 seat matrix published on 13 July 2026 lists 149 seats. Candidates should rely on the final MCC/NMC seat matrix applicable to the counselling round.

MBBS admissions for the academic session 2026–27 will be based on NEET-UG 2026 followed by MCC Deemed University counselling.

Amrita’s official 2026 academic information booklet states that MBBS selection is based on the NEET-UG rank and counselling allotment by DGHS. The university’s MBBS admission page also confirms that NEET-UG 2026 qualified General and NRI candidates allotted Amrita School of Medicine through MCC are eligible to report for admission.

The college is a deemed university medical college, so candidates should not treat it as a regular Kerala state-quota private medical college. Admission is through the applicable MCC All India Deemed University UG counselling process.
